Position: General Superintendent

Location: Denver, CO & Phoenix, AZ

Salary Range: $110,000 - $160,000

In business for over 40 years, my client is one of the most respected mechanical construction companies in the country. They specialize in MEP, water treatment, and steel construction, as well as industrial and commercial building maintenance and more. We are looking for experienced general superintendents to join the mechanical division and contribute to a top-level organization. Position And Responsibilities Overview

1. Develop plans on how to approach each project
2. Maintain and supervise CPMI
3. Schedule daily and weekly SOWs
4. Maintain and track all tools, materials, and equipment
5. Monitor subcontractors and equipment suppliers and their quality of work
6. Coordinate inspections and maintain relationships with inspectors
7. Stay up to date on job cost and labor hour reports on a weekly basis
8. Assist project managers with scheduling and resource/budget allocation
9. Maintain required documentation on projects
10. Train and mentor field personnel and participate in company-provided training
11. Ensure accuracy of time cards before forwarding to corporate offices
12. Closeout projects, including completion of punch list, final cleanup, demobilization, and other activities as required

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or similar combination of skills and knowledge
2. 5+ years of experience as a superintendent or similar management position with fiscal responsibilities
3. Responsible for one or more departments or functions of the company
4. Knowledgeable in managing individuals and managers, as well as giving broader direction
5. Able to determine and outline project goals, and anticipate roadblocks and complexities
6. Familiar with making authoritative decisions that have significant impact on the company and projects
