Job summary

Tempe, AZ-based electrical contractor seeks a General Superintendent – Electrical Construction to lead major commercial, industrial, and mission-critical projects. The role offers 100% employee ownership (ESOP) and pays $60–$75 per hour with overtime and a strong benefits package.

You will oversee large crews, coordinate with PMs and clients, and drive safety and quality across challenging data-center projects.

Job Details

What You’ll Do:

• Provide overall field leadership and direction for large-scale electrical construction projects.
• Oversee General Foremen, Foremen, electricians, apprentices, and field personnel.
• Develop and manage manpower plans, schedules, materials, equipment, and field resources.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other trades.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, quality, and schedule performance.
• Identify potential issues and develop effective solutions to keep projects moving forward.
• Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all jobsites.
• Mentor and develop field leadership, helping build the next generation of electrical construction professionals.
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, forecasting, and coordination meetings.
• Help ensure successful project delivery from mobilization through completion.

What We’re Looking For:

• Extensive experience in commercial electrical construction - specifically Data Centers
• Proven experience as a General Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, or similar senior field leadership role.
• Strong understanding of large-scale electrical construction and project execution.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple crews and field leaders.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, manpower planning, safety, and quality control.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with large commercial, industrial, data center, semiconductor, or other mission‑critical projects is highly valued.
• A track record of successfully delivering complex electrical construction projects.
