Job Title: General Store Cashier / Stocker

Reports to: General Manager

General Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers
• Informing customers
• Establishing or identifying prices of goods
• Applying price stickers
• Keying in or scanning the price of merchandise
• Determining the total price
• Participate in developing window and counter displays under the supervision of the General Manager
• Keep stock rooms organized and clean
• Interact with customers professionally and friendly
• Encourage sales and enhance the Memphis experience
• Be knowledgeable about sister venues such as Blues City Café, Club 152 on Beale, etc.
• Check inventory upon receiving incoming merchandise to invoice and confirm shipment
• Handle cash and credit transactions honestly and professionally
• Control and check outgoing merchandise
• Receive payments and reconcile with total sales
• Prepare deposits, close the till, and manage the float
• Maintain cleanliness and order in checkout areas, stock rooms, and the store
• Participate in inventory counts monthly or quarterly
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Prioritize workload effectively
• Remain calm and focused in busy environments
• Be versatile to participate in other activities as needed

Required:
