Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking an experienced ultrasound technologist for a travel assignment. The role requires 12 months of ultrasound experience, licensure, and preference for Allscripts/Eclipsys experience. Expect night shifts, 12-hour shifts, and 13-week contract with potential floating to other units.

Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility and meet credentialing requirements. Travel-only position; local work is not allowed. BLS certification and ARDMS/RVT preferred."

Qualifications

• Knowledge of anatomy and pathology with ability to recognize normal from abnormal findings.
• Basic scanning skills with good understanding of sonographic physics and techniques.
• Experience with ultrasound within the last year (minimum 12 months).
• Experience with OR ultrasound procedures is a plus.

Shift:

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Allscripts/Eclipsys is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Unit Details:

Patient ratio: 8-10 patients in an 8-hour shift.
Patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric.
Procedures include thoras, paras, FNAs (thyroids, parotids, and lymph nodes), soft-tissue masses or lymph-node biopsies, liver and renal biopsies, drainages (abscesses, cysts, hematomas, and gallbladders), and thrombin injections.
OR procedures include breast needle placements, carotids, D&Cs, and prostate biopsies.
Equipment includes Siemens Acuson S200 and GE Logiq E10.
Uses InteleRad PACS.

Shift & Scheduling:

Friday to Sunday.
No call.

Floating Requirements:

Extra-shift opportunities are available within the department; if breast ultrasound is desired, BCC may have opportunities.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver's license required
