Trusted Health seeks an experienced ultrasound professional for a travel assignment in Billings, MT. The schedule runs day shifts with 10-hour shifts, four per week, for a 13-week term. Portable scanning occurs on the ER and hospital floors, using GE PACS and Omnicell systems.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of ultrasound experience, RDMS certification, and BLS. Travel is required with strict distance and vaccination policies; weekend/holiday coverage may apply.

Experience

2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
Experience with Oracle is preferred.

Requirements

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Unit Details

Daily volume is 75-80/day, with an expectation of 10 scans/day.
Portable scanning is performed in the ER and on the floor.
Patient settings/types include general ultrasound, inpatient, outpatient, ER, pediatrics, and urgent care; urgent care coverage is weekends only and comes to the hospital clinic setting.
Procedures include paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, vascular, abdomen, small parts, and OB (mixed).
Department support includes radiology schedulers, daytime transport, and nursing support.
Uses Omnicell for medication dispensing, Viewpoint reporting system, GE PACS, and GE ultrasound equipment.

Shift & Scheduling

Weekend rotation is dependent on rec.
Occasional call is required from 3a-6a for hospital inpatients and the ER.
Holiday expectations are about 50% and may change based on need.
Schedules are issued a couple of weeks in advance for 4-6-week cycles.

14 days maximum time off
