Redwood Materials, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to lead project teams at the Tahoe Campus in Nevada. The role involves overseeing construction activities, managing site work, and ensuring safety compliance.
Ideal candidates have over 12 years in construction supervision, especially in commercial solar projects. You will be responsible for coordinating with various teams to maintain project quality and adherence to specifications. This full-time position offers competitive pay based on experience.
Redwood is localizing a global battery supply chain that seamlessly integrates recovery, reuse, and recycling—keeping critical minerals in circulation and driving the energy transition. Founded in 2017, we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have.
The Superintendent’s primary responsibility is to lead and oversee project teams in the field, including in-house installers, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with project goals. This role supports the ongoing construction at Redwoods Tahoe Campus and surrounding Northern Nevada Projects. To effectively manage operations, the Superintendent must be present onsite daily during active work periods. This hands‑on presence enables direct oversight of day‑to‑day team activities, timely identification of issues, and comprehensive awareness of all onsite developments. In addition, the Manager is accountable for upholding rigorous quality standards and enforcing safe work practices across all project phases. While these oversight functions are essential, the role prioritizes proactive team management and performance optimization.
The position is full‑time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
