The Office represents the State of Florida in state and federal civil and criminal courts, from trial courts to the Supreme Court of the United States.
This General Services Analyst position is in the Office of the Attorney General within the Administrative Services unit in Tallahassee, Florida.
$45,000.00 - 49,000.00 Annually
Four years of professional experience in general services/support services operations, purchasing, complex procurements, contracts, p-card management, telecommunications, and/or real property/facilities management; Or
An AA in any degree area may substitute for two (2) of the four (4) years of required work experience. OR
An BA in any degree area may substitute for the four (4) years of required work experience.
Preference may be given to applicants with the following experience:
Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM)
Direct experience using MFMP (e.g., creating, reviewing, approving, submitting purchase requisitions). Experience must be reflected and detailed on your state application.
The responsibilities of this position are included, but are not limited to the following:
This position is responsible for all aspects of agency purchasing, including the procurement of both commodities and services through purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, etc.. This position will perform other duties relating to the responsibilities of the Bureau of General Services and customer support.
Incumbent must work efficiently and effectively to ensure timely and accurate performance of all duties. Incumbent is responsible for knowing and complying with all statutes, rules, policies, and procedures applicable to the duties and responsibilities of the position.
PURCHASING - This position serves as one of the agency’s purchasing liaison to the Finance & Accounting Office and is responsible for all aspects of agency purchasing which includes, but not limited to, processing requisitions for agency purchases; conducting research to determine the availability, location, distribution, structure, and pricing of commodities and services for the agency, including agency vendor registration; responsible for acting as “back-up” for all agency staff having access to MFMP, including but not limited to training staff to use MFMP, setting up new accounts, assigning the group roles for customers, monitoring the updates and inactivating customer’s accounts, maintaining the agency’s MFMP Flair encumbrance account and the agency’s MFMP distribution lists. This position also approves agency P-Card transactions as needed and serves as the back-up to the Purchasing Desk. This position is responsible for the procurement, tracking and reporting of all agency multifunctional printing devices.
CONTRACTS - This position will draft, manage, and monitor contracts as needed and provide support for other contracts.
SOLICITATIONS - This position is responsible for supporting the solicitation processes of the agency which include but are not limited to researching and compiling information necessary for research, analysis, and development of standards and specifications; analyzing, developing and preparing supporting documentation for single source, exceptional purchases and alternative contract agreements.
OTHER DUTIES - This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, effective and efficient central filing system (physical and electronic), and following all unit work, communications, and supervision processes; Performs other duties relating to the responsibilities of the Bureau of General Services and customer support as required, including special projects as assigned by management
