Job summary

Midas International, LLC is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician for our Torrington location. You will diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles, using your own tools and collaborating with a team to ensure high-quality service.

Qualifications include knowledge of brakes, exhaust, suspension, and engine diagnostics, plus the ability to work independently. ASE certifications or a technical degree are a plus, with a focus on safe, efficient repairs.

Automotive Technician Requirements

• Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment.
• Knowledge in automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, & engine diagnostics.
• Track record of high personal productivity.
• Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities.

Automotive Technician Qualifications

• Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, Tire Changing Equipment, Tire Balancers, Wheel Alignment Equipment, etc.
• High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical Degree or ASE certifications a definite plus.
• Valid Drivers License that meets insurance guidelines.
• Personally owned tools required to complete jobs independently.
