Job summary

Midas AMG Enterprises is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles. You will work at our Torrington location with a team that values accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality service.

Candidates should have experience with shop equipment and a strong safety mindset; ownership of tools is required. ASE certifications are a plus, and a valid driver’s license is necessary to operate company vehicles.

Qualifications

• Requires experience with diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of vehicles.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or ASE certifications a definite plus.
• Valid driver''s license that meets insurance guidelines.
• Personally owned tools required to complete jobs independently.

Automotive Technician Requirements

• Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment.
• Knowledge in automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, & engine diagnostics.
• Track record of high personal productivity.
• Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities.

Automotive Technician Qualifications

• Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, Tire Changing Equipment, Tire Balancers, Wheel Alignment Equipment, etc.
• High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical Degree or ASE certifications a definite plus.
• Valid Drivers License that meets insurance guidelines.
