Pep Boys, now part of the Mavis Tire family, is hiring full-time General Service Technicians to join our Joliet, IL service centers. We offer paid training, hands-on skill development, and a clear path for career growth within the nation's largest automotive service organization.

This role covers tire mounting and balancing, oil changes, fluid checks, and basic inspections. A $800 New Hire Bonus accompanies competitive weekly pay and weekly incentive compensation.

Competenze

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual and eager to learn.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, hands-on automotive work.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality service.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided.

Mansioni

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
