Overview

We have immediate openings for General Service Technicians. The General Service Technician conducts non-technical automotive service repairs such as oil changes, tire and wheel services, as well as driving customers, picking up parts, and maintaining shop cleanliness.

COMPENSATION: $20.00/Hr. - $25.00/Hr.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing, and tire rotation
• Performs oil changes and other basic services
• Uses the company's Multi-point Inspection and Repair Orders to document vehicle conditions
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop including service areas, tire racks, showroom, and outside premises
• Drives vehicles safely and courteously, obeying traffic laws
• Includes transporting customers, picking up parts, supplies, tires from vendors or the office using company vehicle
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections (if applicable), following all guidelines
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns
• Adheres to company values and policies outlined in the Employee Handbook
• Works flexible schedules, Monday-Saturday

Qualifications

• Understanding of automotive under-the-hood, mechanical, and undercarriage assemblies
• Valid Driver's license in the work state (out-of-state licenses must be transferred within 30 days)
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Working Conditions And Physical Demands

The technician will be exposed to loud noises, dust, fumes, lubricants, and other materials. Work environment varies with potential extreme temperatures. PPE may be required.

Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 70 pounds, and vision sufficient for detailed work.
