Additional Details:

Full Time Employees are eligible for health insurance (Medical/Dental/Vision), paid vacation, and 401(k) retirement options.

Pay rate is hourly plus commission, ranging from $19 to $22 per hour, with up to 5.5% commission, potentially totaling $25 to $35 per hour combined.

Position Summary

As a General Service Technician (GST) at Big O Tires, you will service and perform maintenance on tires and wheels accurately and efficiently, including light under-car and under-hood routine services. You should be honest, have a strong work ethic, and high motivation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Mounting and dismounting automotive tires
  • Installing new wheels
  • Attaching and re-balancing wheels
  • Repairing, rotating, and inflating tires
  • Performing oil changes, flushes, and maintenance
  • Brake and suspension repair
  • Calibrating TPMS
  • Inventory stocking
  • Participating in training and following safety procedures
  • Testing and installing batteries
  • Test-driving vehicles after maintenance
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after hours as needed
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials
  • Capability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles safely
  • Willingness to work with hazardous materials and outdoors
  • Compliance with PPE regulations
  • Ability to stand or drive for up to nine hours per shift
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Meet company requirements, including pre-employment drug screening, MVR, and background check
