Job summary

Leeds West Groups is seeking a General Service Technician to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs in a fast-paced automotive retail and repair setting. You will use diagnostic tools and manuals to identify issues, provide accurate estimates, and ensure work meets safety and manufacturer specifications.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong customer service, and ongoing learning in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Active and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one year related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, filter replacements).
• Assist with and conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections for safety and maintenance needs.
• Complete repairs and maintenance tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Use diagnostic equipment and manuals to diagnose automotive problems.
• Ensure repairs meet manufacturer specs and safety standards.
• Perform quality control checks and test-drives to verify repairs.
• Communicate repair recommendations and estimates to customers and staff.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment.
