**Job Description**
The General Service Technician role is full time or part-time and is an hourly position based on the needs of the business. The technician is responsible for performing basic routine vehicle repair and maintenance services in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications. This role requires delivering exceptional 5-star service to guests, effectively communicating vehicle issues and solutions, and ensuring guest expectations for time and quality are met.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Perform basic vehicle services and repairs efficiently according to Monro standards.
2. Perform tire services including wheel removal, balancing, patch/plug repairs, changing, mounting, installation, and TPMS service and repair.
3. Perform vehicle services such as lubrications, oil changes, basic maintenance (e.g., bulb, wiper blade, filter replacements), battery testing, and installations.
4. Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle, identifying and communicating additional needed services.
5. Assist in inventory management, including pulling tires and parts, unloading, and stocking inventory.
6. Maintain store cleanliness and ensure it is guest-ready, adhering to company standards.
7. Perform services safely, following Monro’s safety standards and procedures.
8. Test drive vehicles following Monro’s policies, observing all traffic and safety laws.
9. Adhere to company policies, governmental standards, and safety protocols.
10. Maintain technical knowledge through timely completion of training courses.
11. Operate and maintain equipment safely, including lifts, welders, brake lathes, etc.
12. Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
