Job Description

The General Service Technician is responsible for providing quality service and vehicle repair in a timely manner. This role supports the company’s mission and values, contributing to the success of the team.

Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Change oil and oil filters in cars and light trucks
• Install, repair, and rotate tires
• Inspect and top off engine fluids
• Lubricate frontend parts as needed
• Perform vehicle inspections following a checklist (belts, hoses, brakes, etc.)
• Move and operate customer vehicles in and out of service bays
• Maintain positive customer relationships
• Work collaboratively with co-workers and management
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Represent the organization professionally, projecting trust, honesty, and respect

Qualifications

We are looking for:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• One or more years of basic car care experience (helpful but not necessary)
• Customer-focused attitude and teamwork skills
• Mechanical inclination
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service skills and a desire to build trust and relationships
• Willingness to work Saturdays

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged standing, stooping, and bending
• Occasional exertion of 50-100 lbs of force and frequent exertion of 10-25 lbs
• Work at a production pace involving pushing and pulling materials
