Job summary

Precision Tune Auto Care in Salt Lake City is hiring a General Automotive Service Technician to provide preventative maintenance and light repair.

This full-time role offers hourly pay plus production bonus, ongoing paid training, and opportunities to advance to Technician and Master Technician roles within a trusted national brand, while supporting a team-focused, safety-conscious shop environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Passion for automotive repair and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Pre-employment background check.
• Previous automotive experience is required. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a great attitude and a desire to build a career.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and routine maintenance services
• Rotate, repair, and install tires
• Perform vehicle inspections and recommend maintenance needs
• Replace brakes and perform basic brake services
• Perform wheel alignments (training provided if needed)
• Check and top off vehicle fluids
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist experienced technicians with diagnostics and repairs
• Communicate professionally with teammates and service advisors
• Follow all company safety and environmental procedures

What You'll Do
