Job Description

The General Service Technician is a full-time or part-time hourly role responsible for routine vehicle repairs and maintenance, delivering excellent customer service by effectively communicating vehicle issues and solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform basic vehicle services and repairs efficiently according to standards.
2. Conduct tire services, including removal, balancing, patching, mounting, and TPMS repairs.
3. Perform vehicle services such as oil changes, lubrication, bulb, wiper, filter replacements, and battery testing/installation.
4. Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every vehicle, documenting and communicating additional needed services.
5. Assist with inventory management and store duties, maintaining cleanliness and readiness.
6. Follow safety standards, including wheel torque, oil safety, and compliance procedures.
7. Test drive vehicles adhering to safety policies.
8. Adhere to company policies, environmental, and safety standards.
9. Maintain technical skills through training and operate equipment safely.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned.
