Overview

Big O General Service Technicians perform service and installation activities associated with store products and services in an accurate and timely manner.

Pay: $31,220 - $38,160 per year.

Responsibilities

• Drain and change oil, install and rotate tires, check and fill fluids, replace filters and lights.
• Unload merchandise and supplies from trucks and deliveries.
• Inspect and dispose of tires properly.
• Clean facilities, tools, and equipment, and stock shelves.
• Provide courteous customer service, explain service benefits, and promote sales.
• Perform sales duties, including pricing, promotions, and suggestive selling.
• Maintain store appearance according to standards.
• Safely operate customer vehicles and complete required training.
• Follow work schedules and report issues to supervisors.
• Assist in training new employees as needed.
• Adhere to company policies and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum age of 17 with parental consent.
• Ability to learn technical materials and operate a computer.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles safely.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with hazardous materials.
• Ability to work outdoors, lift up to 75 pounds, and work flexible hours including holidays and weekends.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and meet pre-employment requirements.

Note: Ability to obtain a Motor Vehicle Inspection within 6 months (for Missouri stores).

Preferred Skills
