Compensation: $16-19 per hour.

The General Service Technician role is full-time or part-time, based on business needs, and involves performing vehicle repair and maintenance services according to company and manufacturer standards. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service through effective communication and quality work.

Responsibilities include:

1. Performing basic vehicle services and repairs efficiently and accurately.
2. Handling tire services such as wheel removal, balancing, repairs, mounting, and TPMS repairs.
3. Performing vehicle services like oil changes, lubrication, basic maintenance, and battery testing and installation.
4. Completing courtesy inspections, identifying additional service needs.
5. Assisting with inventory management and store duties, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
6. Operating and maintaining equipment safely and properly.
7. Adhering to safety standards and company policies, including road test policies.
8. Completing required training to maintain technical proficiency.
9. Performing other duties as assigned.

Profile Summary:

• Ability to identify problems, analyze data, and recommend solutions.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive training or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
• Own basic tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.
