Job summary

Circle K Stores Inc. is seeking a General Service Technician for the Daytona Market to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on gasoline-related equipment, HVAC systems, and facility components.

Qualifications

• Must have the manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, use hand/electric cart, power and hand tools, crouching/crawling, ladder use, and ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities and work independently in a demanding business environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and preventive maintenance; tests leak detectors and product lines.
• Facilitates repairs by contacting service vendors for materials.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintains cash registers, money order machines and safes by troubleshooting repairs and reprogramming equipment.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
• Maintains HVAC systems by installing, repairing and servicing heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
• Keeps equipment, systems and building ready for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules; repairing and replacing doors, plumbing and tiles; painting; recommending HVAC changes and installations.
• Maintains gas pumps by changing nozzles, hoses, splashguards, filters and display boards.
• Diagnoses, repairs and maintains equipment such as walk-in coolers, novelty freezers, refrigerators and fountains.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• 9. Ensures operationg of equipment by diagnosing, repairing and maintaining equipment such as walk-in coolers, novelty freezers, refrigerators and fountains.
