Position: General Service Technician

This is a full-time or part-time hourly position, responsible for performing routine vehicle repairs and maintenance to company and manufacturer standards. The role involves delivering exceptional 5-star customer service by communicating vehicle issues effectively and ensuring guest expectations are met.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing basic vehicle services and repairs efficiently and accurately
• Providing tire services such as wheel removal, balancing, patching, mounting, and TPMS repair
• Conducting vehicle services like oil changes, lubrication, filter replacements, and battery testing
• Completing courtesy inspections, identifying additional services needed
• Assisting with inventory management and store duties, maintaining cleanliness
• Adhering to safety standards and testing vehicles following company policies
• Utilizing and maintaining equipment safely
• Completing required training and development courses
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Automotive training or experience in basic car maintenance and repair
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report
• Own a basic set of tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program
