Job Description

About The Role:

The General Service Technician is a full-time or part-time hourly position responsible for performing basic vehicle repair and maintenance services, delivering exceptional 5-star service, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform basic vehicle services and repairs efficiently and accurately.
2. Conduct tire services including removal, balancing, patching, mounting, and TPMS repairs.
3. Perform vehicle services such as oil changes, lubrications, and basic maintenance.
4. Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle, identifying additional services needed.
5. Assist with inventory management and store duties to maintain store condition.
6. Adhere to safety standards and perform test drives safely.
7. Operate and maintain equipment safely and effectively.
8. Follow company policies, procedures, and environmental standards.
9. Maintain technical knowledge through training.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Automotive training or experience in basic car maintenance and repair.
3. Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
4. Own a basic set of tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.
