About Cactus Jack’s Auto
Cactus Jack’s Auto is a growing used-vehicle retailer focused on helping customers find dependable transportation while providing financing solutions designed to serve a broad range of credit situations. Today, we operate acrossArizona and Texas in four major markets — Phoenix, Tucson, Dallas, and Fort Worth.
And we’re continuing to grow. Cactus Jack’s has recently secured two new Super Center locations in Houston, Texas, scheduled to open by the end of the year, expanding our presence into a fifth major market.
As we grow, our focus remains on building strong teams, developing our people, delivering an outstanding customer experience, and creating career opportunities for individuals who want to grow with us.
Cactus Jack’s Auto is looking for a General Sales Manager who wants to build people, not simply manage deals.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys coaching, developing teams, using data to improve performance, and working side by side with salespeople and customers. Our GSMs are not expected to manage from the "ivory tower." They are expected to be visible, engaged, and actively involved in the business every day.
Prior automotive experience is not required. If you have successfully led people in sales, retail, hospitality, financial services, call centers, or another performance-driven environment, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Your primary responsibility is to create a developmental, accountable, and highly collaborative dealership culture.
You will:
Manage Performance Through Data
We believe strong sales results begin with strong daily behaviors.
You will actively manage CRM execution, including:
You will also monitor and manage key sales KPIs, including:
The expectation is not simply to review results after the fact. The GSM must identify what is happening before the sale, coach the behaviors that drive performance, and take action when opportunities are being missed.
What We're Looking For
You may be a strong fit if you:
Automotive Experience Is Not Required
We can teach the automotive business.
What we are looking for is someone who already knows how to lead, coach, communicate, manage performance, use data, take ownership, and build a strong team culture.
If you want to lead from the floor, develop people, and take ownership of a dealership's performance, we would like to meet you.
