Job summary

Atalco Gramercy Operations in Gramercy, LA is seeking a General Repairer Specialist to perform maintenance and repairs across plant equipment. You will install, repair, assemble and replace mechanical systems throughout the refinery, following sketches and blueprints.

The role requires hands-on experience in at least two crafts (Pipefitting, Welding, or Millwright), safety-focused work, ability to read blueprints, and readiness for post-offer drug screening and a physical assessment.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Millwright, Pipefitting, Welding, and Rigging skills.
• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Understand hazard recognition, elevated work, lock out tag out procedures, guarding requirements and general safety.
• At least 3 years of experience in any of the crafts, certifications, specific industry experience, specific qualifications for the role or related field
• Must be able to pass the post offer/acceptance directly observed drug test assessment as well as a hands-on evaluation.
• POST OFFER/ACCEPTANCE PHYSICAL INCLUDING DRUG SCREENING*

We are currently seeking General Repairer Specialists for our Gramercy, LA refinery.

This Is a Permanent Local Position Within The Company.

In order to be eligible for this position, you must have technical and hands on knowledge of at least 2 of the 3 crafts (Pipefitting, Welding, and Millwright).

Work Environment

Must be able to support plant operations which are in continuous operation and work outdoors in various types of weather conditions.
