Position

We are looking for an X-Ray Technologist to join our team. The pay range for this role will depend on experience and qualifications.

The X-Ray (General Radiologic) Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures; reviews all necessary documentation related to the procedures and performs related clinical and administrative duties.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with rotating Saturday coverage 8am-12pm.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrated interest in meeting patient needs and assuring patient satisfaction.
• Operating knowledge of radiographic equipment.
• Performs all diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures within assigned areas.
• Reviews all necessary documentation to perform diagnostic procedures.
• Performs preventive visual and manual inspections for each radiographic room/equipment assigned ensuring appropriate maintenance and cleanliness.
• Performs related clinical and clerical duties associated with the patient procedure.
• Assists in managing the radiographic procedures through coordination of resources, to facilitate optimal efficiency and assures that the procedures performed are in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Performs warm up calibration procedures necessary to ready the equipment for patient imaging.
• Contributes to a positive climate and open communication for a team approach.
• Maintains certification and licensure by attending continuing education classes.

Educational Requirements

• College degree preferred (New grads welcomed).
• ARRT (RT)(R) and CT State License required (We’ll even reimburse you for this cost!).
