Qualifications

Job Title : General Production Worker - PM Shift

Job Description

Join a global leader in bio-solutions dedicated to creating innovative products in the sectors of yogurt and animal feed. As a General Production Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining efficient operations through various manual and machine-related tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual cleaning of machines during product changeovers.
  • Lift and load 50lb bags of raw materials into hoppers.
  • Assist operators in running various machines efficiently.
  • Learn and adhere to proper Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements and chemical safety protocols.
  • Document production runs accurately and maintain records.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in general production.
  • At least 1 year of experience with GMP practices.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and familiarity with sanitation procedures.
  • Proficiency in mixing and blending operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in safely handling chemicals used for sanitation.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.

This role operates on a PM shift schedule : 7 days on, 7 days off, Monday to Friday (11pm - 9am) and Saturday & Sunday (9pm to 9am). The work environment is clean and climate-controlled, requiring GMP attire such as hair nets, beard nets, smocks, steel toes, gloves, hard hats, and safety glasses. The pace is moderate, with occasional tasks in a deep freezer at -55 Celsius.

This is a Contract position based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 / hr.
