Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a General Production Worker for a contract role in Elgin, IL. The position offers 1st or 2nd shift with potential OT and a pay range of $18.00-$19.00 per hour. This onsite role involves immediate start and requires commitment to safety and quality on the production line.

You will operate production equipment, load/unload materials, perform assembly with air tools, run quality inspections, and maintain paperwork while supporting overtime and weekend needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with manual assembly and testing preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on an assembly line.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Operate production equipment to count, bevel, assemble, weld, and test components.

• Load and unload materials and finished products, including lifting items up to 50 lbs.

• Perform assembly work using air tools and automated manufacturing equipment.

• Complete quality inspections, testing, and required production documentation.

• Maintain a safe, clean work area and support overtime and weekend production needs.

Pay& Shift:

• 1st shift 5:00am-1:30pm - can go to 3:30pm for OT

• 2nd shift: 3:30-12 - can go to 2:00am for OT

• Pay- $18/hr-$19/hr

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
