Job Description

CWC Textron is one of North America's leading automotive suppliers of cast camshafts, serving a diverse customer base including major OEMs.

We are seeking energetic, dedicated individuals to join our Muskegon team as General Production Associates. This key position involves the efficient and safe daily production of cast camshafts to meet or exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Practice and promote safe working habits in compliance with all MIOSHA, Kautex, and CWC Textron safety standards.
  2. Operate flame hardeners, ladles, grinders, straighteners, trim presses, and other manufacturing machinery safely and effectively.
  3. Perform various hand operations including inspections.
  4. Use equipment to move materials, parts, and products within the facility.
  5. Package finished products for shipping.
  6. Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  7. Work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as scheduled, often with short notice.
  8. Pay close attention to detail, even during repetitive tasks.
  9. Work well in a team and multitask effectively.
  10. Be technically oriented and comply with ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Customer service orientation
  • Previous manufacturing experience required
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
  • Physically capable of walking, bending, twisting, and standing repeatedly
