Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in all phases of production, preparation, and packaging of products, providing general help and labor as needed.
• Lift pans, push racks, place products on moving conveyors, remove products from conveyors, stack boxes, and clean floors, pans, and buckets.
• Be flexible in job assignments, rotating through different areas based on production needs, absenteeism, machinery issues, etc.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete tasks efficiently, ensure line readiness, and minimize downtime.
• Complete required paperwork such as crew sheets and downtime reports.
• Adhere to Sara Lee Frozen Bakery policies, procedures, SQF 2000, GMP, and GBS standards.
• Perform additional tasks, including cross-training in other machines and areas.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Ability and willingness to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work in a production environment requiring PPE such as safety glasses, hair/beard nets, hearing protection, and safety toe boots, all provided by Sara Lee Frozen Bakery.
• Ability to climb stairs to enter/exit production areas.
• Willingness to walk over boot scrubbers before entering work areas.
• Ability to withstand cold and hot environments.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts involving standing, walking, reaching over conveyors, loading pans, pushing racks, and lifting pans and products.
