Job summary

Timken is seeking a General Production Laborer for the 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm, M-F) with OT opportunities at our Houston area facility. You will be trained in heat treating, machine operations, coating applications, welding, warehousing, and related processes to build components for our motion technologies.

You will join a team that emphasizes safety, precision, and teamwork while developing skills in loading, unloading, inspection, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic math and mechanical aptitude.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

As a General Production Laborer you’ll play a critical role in the process by assisting in a varity of functions in our production, learning the processes, and following quality procedures to ensure every component meets exacting standards before moving things tothe next application step. • High School Diploma or GED and must be able to work in USA
• Basic math, geometry, and mechanical aptitude.

• Excellent manual dexterity and ability to control application tools precisely.

• Excellent team skills; collaborative, open-minded, adaptable.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift to 50 pounds or more.
• Prolonged standing and walking.
• Repetitive movement, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
