Position: General Production Associate

Only candidates with a resume or complete previous and current work experience will be considered.

As part of our manufacturing team, you will support production packaging and processing operations, sanitation, and participate in startup, operation, changeover, and shutdown of equipment.

Shift hours:

• Plant operates 24/7
• Up to 48 hours/week, including weekends
• Hiring for both day and night shifts
• 12-hour shifts: AM (6am-6:30pm), PM (6pm-6:30am)
• Work on a rotating schedule: 4 days on, 4 days off
• Work cycle: 4 weeks of 48 hours, 4 weeks of 36 hours, then repeat

Pay:

• $19.12/hour starting wage
• $0.75/hour extra for second shift hours
• $500 bonus after 90 days

Our St. Charles site is just 30 minutes from St. Louis. It's a newer, growing facility within a stable company, offering on-site events like barbecues, food trucks, and holiday gifts.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Creating high-quality foods enjoyed nationwide
• Utilizing advanced technology in a leading industry facility
• Collaborating with experienced operators eager to pass on knowledge
• Challenging yourself to complete tasks accurately and develop new skills
• Troubleshooting machinery issues and working with maintenance
• Calibrating processing and packaging systems daily
• Participating in startup, changeover, and shutdown procedures
• Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives
• Training new employees
• Performing packaging tasks: bagging, stacking, counting, oiling, banding
• Cleaning and sanitizing production areas and equipment
• Assisting in other plant areas as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Perform physical tasks: standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting
• Work at heights using stairs, ladders, lifts
• Wear protective gear as required
• Adhere to grooming standards for food safety
• Work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet conditions
• Operate around high-speed machinery
• Work with potential food allergens
