Job summary

Harvey Performance Company in Meridian, ID is seeking a General Production Associate to be cross trained across multiple departments in our engaged manufacturing environment. The role supports production flow and emphasizes adherence to drawings and specifications.

You will train in at least two areas (manual prep, CNC operations, hone/polish, etching, EDM) and help mentor others, while maintaining strong organizational skills and safe work practices in a busy facility.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with multi-tasking and handling numerous tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to follow written and verbal procedures.
• Demonstrated ability for organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Regular standing, sitting, walking, and speaking.
• Occasional climbing stairs, reaching overhead, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Move between work departments as production needs change.
• Train and work proficiently in at least two areas (manual prep, CNC operations, honing/polishing, etching, EDM, etc.).
• Train other employees in general production.
• Work with shop documents, drawings, and specifications.

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision, the General Production Associate will be cross trained to work within multiple departments of the manufacturing organization based on the current state of production. Our newly renovated facility is in Meridian ID, less than a 20-minute commute from Boise. The Boise area offers a moderate climate with quick access to outdoor recreation.

In This Role, You Will

• Move from one work department to another based on the needs of production.
• Train and work proficiently in a minimum of two of the following areas:
  • Prep operations in the Manual.
  • Pre-and Post-CNC operations.
  • Hone and polish operations.
  • Etching, tube and labeling product.
  • Wheel Dressing.
  • EDM Machine operation
  • Train other employees in general production.
  • Work to shop documents, drawings and specifications.
• Other duties as assigned.
