Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a General Production Assembler for our Dublin, VA facility. The role operates a range of hand tools and machines to assemble parts, following blueprints and work instructions, with a focus on quality and timely production.

This is a full-time position on all shifts, offering an hourly wage in the range shown and opportunities to support multiple areas as needed. The incumbent will load/unload materials, apply coatings as required, and perform standard quality checks.

• Reliable transportation required

Responsibilities

• Operate nut guns, rivet guns, bolt guns, screw gun, air ratchets, torque wrenches to perform various assembly jobs
• Read blueprints and work instructions
• Input correct programs for machines
• Load/unload material
• Grinds out burrs and sharp edges from parts
• Assist in applying glue or silicone to parts
• Willingness to assist in other areas as needed
• Perform quality checks on assembled parts
• Operate additional machines (Laser, Brake Press, NC Machine, Paint Booth, etc.) and ensure parts meet quality standards

Direct Full-Time VA Facility, Dublin, VA, US

Salary Range: $15.00 To $16.50 Hourly

Job Summary :

A general production operator manufactures or assembles to ensure efficient operation, quality, and timely completion of products.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate nut guns, pop rivet gun, bolt guns, screw gun, air ratchets, and torque wrenches to perform various assembly jobs
• Read blueprints and work instructions
• Input correct programs for machines
• Load/unload material
• Grinds out burrs and sharp edges from each part
• Assist in applying glue or silicone to parts
• Willingness to assist in other areas as needed

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Use of hand tools

Physical Requirements of the Job:

• Frequent walking, standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting and lifting for 8-12 hours per day
• Able to work in non-climate-controlled and noisy environment
• Frequent overhead reaching and reaching with both hands
• Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or maneuvering loads up to 50 lbs
• Able to wear and tolerate Personal Protective Equipment (apparel and devices)
• Vision acuity, corrected or uncorrected, capable of reading documents, blueprints, gauges, equipment settings, calibration instruments, parts labels and written materials
• Reliable to come to work every day and be on-time
• Flexible work availability, including Overtime during the week and weekends
• Ability to use a respirator (for specific operations)
