Job summary

Welch Packaging is seeking a reliable production teammate to operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will follow safety procedures, ensure products meet specifications, and contribute to on-time delivery. The role requires teamwork, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively while handling packaging tasks such as assembling, wrapping and labeling.

• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment is preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper safety procedures and processes.
• Ensure product is built to specification and 100% accurate.
• Maintain productivity to meet on-time delivery targets.
• Keep the plant housekeeping standards up to par.
• Work collaboratively with all team members.
• Assemble, stack, wrap, staple, glue, sticker, and tape boxes as needed.

Essential Functions

• Follow proper safety procedures and processes
• Responsible for ensuring the product being built is built to spec and 100% accurate
• Responsible for maintaining the highest level of productivity to ensure 100% on time delivery to our customers.
• Responsible for maintaining the housekeeping standards of the plant
• Responsible for working as a team with all team members of the facility.
• Day to day responsibilities may include some or all of the following assembling, stacking, wrapping, stapling, gluing, stickering, and taping boxes.

Requirements/Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

• 1+ years in a manufacturing/production environment
• Ability to work safely adhering to all safety processes and policies.
