Job Description

A mixed animal practice is seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join its dynamic and collaborative team of two doctors. This well-established, three-doctor hospital provides approximately 80% companion animal and 20% large animal care, with a strong focus on preventative medicine, client education, and high-quality, compassionate service. The practice offers a comprehensive range of services, including wellness visits, emergency care, dental procedures, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, acupuncture, and veterinary orthopedic manipulation. Large animal services are fully ambulatory and primarily focused on cattle, offering herd health programs as well as medical and surgical procedures.

The hospital is equipped with advanced technology, including digital radiography, in-house laboratory diagnostics, electronic medical records, tonometry, laser therapy, and gas anesthesia with monitoring. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care, capable of working independently and collaboratively, and comfortable handling both small and large animal cases. Responsibilities include performing examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, conducting surgical procedures, operating advanced medical equipment, advising clients on pet care, and working closely with the experienced support team.
