Job Description

This privately owned, small animal hospital is staffed by 2 full-time doctors, 2 part-time doctors, and a team of 24 support staff with over 250 years of combined experience in the veterinary industry. Established in 1980, it was the first clinic in North Austin, known for its family-friendly culture and low staff turnover. The hospital has treated generations of pets and is actively involved in the local community.

Facilities include digital radiographs, digital dental radiographs, electrocautery, an in-house IDEXX lab suite (including U/A with sediment and digital cytology), ultrasound, Class IV laser, cold laser (in-house and rental), Phovia, optometry pen, Avimark, Petdesk App for clients, 6 exam rooms (4 dog, 2 cat), and separate entrances for cats and dogs.

The typical schedule is 9 am-6 pm, four days a week with a 2-hour break, and 8 am-12 pm on two Saturdays per month. Full- and part-time positions are available. Mentorship can be provided to new or recent graduates. The hospital is open to discussing accommodations, such as a non-surgical caseload, to support candidates' needs.
