Job description

A thriving small animal practice in Lima, Ohio, is seeking an associate veterinarian to join its dedicated team. With a rich history dating back to 1958, this well-established hospital has built a reputation for providing high-quality veterinary care and was voted Best Veterinary Practice in Lima in 2023. The clinic underwent a full remodel in 2019 and features five exam rooms, a surgical suite, and plans for a dedicated dental suite.

The hospital has a high surgical caseload, including soft tissue procedures, dental surgeries, and some orthopedic cases. Equipped with digital radiography, laser therapy, ultrasound, and a complete in-house IDEXX laboratory, the practice provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment options. The team of four veterinarians are supported by a strong team, including registered technicians and veterinary assistants, ensuring a well-balanced and efficient workflow. A local emergency clinic handles overnight cases, so there are no after-hours responsibilities. The schedule consists of a four-day workweek with alternating Saturdays and a dedicated weekday off.
