This is an amazing, privately owned, small animal hospital located on the outskirts of South Jacksonville. The hospital currently has 2 full-time doctors and is looking to expand to 3. It is a family-oriented practice with a supportive team, both in and outside of work. The hospital emphasizes quality care over volume, with appointment times ranging between 20-30 minutes. It is well-equipped with digital x-rays, digital dental x-rays, ultrasound, shockwave therapy, surgical laser, full in-house labs, EKG, five exam rooms (each with a TV), and electronic medical records. The hospital is proud to be AAHA accredited, Cat Friendly certified, and Fear Free certified. The owner DVM is an excellent mentor and is flexible in accommodating both new graduates and experienced veterinarians. The position can be full-time or part-time, with a typical full-time schedule of four days a week plus rotating Saturday and Wednesday shifts (flexible).
