Job Description

Are you looking for an independently owned hospital that gives you complete control over how you want to practice? This hospital is for you! The hospital has been in the community for over 40 years, with a very loyal clientele and staff. The only reason for recruiting a new DVM is due to a retiring DVM; this is the first time in 6 years they are hiring, which speaks to how well they treat their staff — so much so that no one wants to leave.

The hospital primarily sees small animals but also handles a small percentage of exotics and pocket pets. You are not required to see these, but the option is available if you wish. The hospital is equipped with Dental and Digital X-rays, in-house labs, and an in-house pharmacy. They do not currently have an ultrasound but are considering purchasing one if the right candidate is interested and would use it.

If you prefer an appointment-only position, this can also be accommodated. The hospital operates 7 days a week, with some weekend work required. They hospitalize patients as needed, but overnight work is not expected as they already have a team in place for this.
