Introduction
Our client is an independently owned hospital that treats dogs and cats, with an openness to candidates who have an interest in exotics and pocket pets, and is currently hiring for an Associate Veterinarian.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday and Tuesday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Wednesday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Thursday and Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. The position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role includes full general practice responsibilities and is intended for experienced veterinarians, though confident new graduates with strong surgical skills may also be considered.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, laser, in-house labs, IDEXX equipment, and more. The spacious 9,500-square-foot facility includes five exam rooms. Services offered include orthopedic care, rehabilitation, soft tissue surgery, boarding, reproductive services, grooming, veterinary care, emergency services, surgery, reproductive services, grooming, boarding, and training.

Team
The team currently includes one full-time and one part-time DVM, supported by a staff of ten.

Candidate Requirements

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
