Job summary

Crestview Animal Hospital & Emergency in Cumming, GA seeks a General Practice Veterinary Technician to join the PetVet Care Centers family. The role focuses on delivering high-quality veterinary care and exceptional client service in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will assist with patient examinations, surgeries, medication administration, and medical record keeping while maintaining a compassionate, pet-centered approach for every patient and owner interaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVMT/CVT/LVT/RVT) required.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a veterinary hospital.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements by examinations, care plans, and diagnostics.
• Care for patients: vital signs, meds, vaccines, wounds; observe for signs of illness.
• Assist with examinations, surgeries, and administration of medications.
• Maintain medical records and communicate with pet owners as directed.
• Ensure safe, humane environment and proper inventory management.
