The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks in Fort Smith, AR, is seeking two (2) full-time Optometrists. The Optometrist will provide comprehensive eye care services, follow-up care for existing conditions, and management of emergency conditions. Responsibilities include prescribing lenses, contact lenses, orthotics, vision training, pharmaceutical agents, and prosthetic devices to correct or treat eye conditions.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (*will consider non-citizen candidates*)
  • Completion of an Optometry residency training program
  • Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible (Preferred)
  • Highly motivated, team-oriented, and committed to veteran care
