Job Description

An established clinic in Western New York is seeking an experienced veterinarian for the role of Medical Director. This position focuses solely on outpatient and preventative care, with no surgical duties required. The ideal candidate is a compassionate leader who values teamwork, remains calm under pressure, and approaches challenges with an open, proactive mindset. The clinic offers high-quality care at half the cost of typical practices. Services include wellness exams for comprehensive check-ups and vaccinations, in-house diagnostic screenings (heartworm, parasites, allergies, etc.), personalized nutritional counseling, and behavioral support. Client education on disease prevention and tailored care for puppies, kittens, and senior pets are also integral parts of the clinic’s offerings.

The schedule is designed to prioritize work-life balance with no on-call duties, weekends, or holiday shifts. The team comprises 5 DVMs supported by experienced technicians and client service staff, ensuring ample resources for patient care.
