A healthcare organization in Pennsylvania is looking for a General Practice Assistant to perform essential administrative tasks to support GPs and ANPs. The ideal candidate should have experience in primary care and excellent communication skills to manage various responsibilities, including processing medication requests and arranging patient appointments. This role is crucial for enhancing patient care by freeing up GPs' time for complex cases.
General Practice Assistant (GPA), is required to support the smooth running of clinics byperforming more routine administration tasks on behalf of the GP,freeing up their time to focus on the patient.
Responsibilities
We are a rural practice located in Warboys with a practice list size of 7,500 patients.
Our team consists of 4 GP partners, 1 salaried GP, 2 ANPs, 5 receptionists, 3 dispensers, 1 care coordinator, 1 social prescribing link worker, 4 nurses and 3 health care assistants.
Many members of our team have been with the practice for a very long time.
Performing routine administrative tasks to support the GPs and ANPs freeing up their time for complex patient care.
Responsibilities
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
