Job summary

Great Lakes Physician Practice (GLPP) is seeking a skilled orthopaedic surgeon to join a two-surgeon team at UPMC Chautauqua. This full-time role offers a strong referral base, APP support, and a pathway to advanced training in a collaborative, community-focused setting in Western New York.

The candidate should have an MD/DO, completed orthopaedic residency, and be Board-eligible or -certified in Orthopaedic Surgery; fellowship in adult reconstruction is a plus.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program completion.
• American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training in adult reconstruction is a plus, though not a requirement.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted New York Medical License and DEA certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality general orthopaedic care in a community-focused setting in Western New York, with preference for adult reconstruction.
• Collaborate with two experienced orthopaedic surgeons at UPMC Chautauqua and a team of seven APPs.
• Join a fully integrated Epic EMR system and participate in ongoing modernization and growth initiatives.

Education
