Oasis Outdoors in Marion, Illinois is seeking reliable, skilled Home Improvement Technicians to join our residential construction crew. You will deliver high-quality work alongside a team of professionals, follow safety standards, and communicate clearly with clients to ensure satisfaction on every project.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of residential construction and flooring experience, basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing, and a proven track record with clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with residential construction and renovation projects
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with all varieties of flooring
• Must have general knowledge of residential electricity and plumbing
• Proven track record of successful projects and satisfied clients

Responsibilities

• Assess project and layout specifications, and timelines
• Ensure that all assigned projects are conducted in a timely fashion
• Maintain a safe and orderly work environment
• Observe all safety requirements and regulations at all times
• Provide consistent, regular project updates to owner
• Minimize waste and maximize efficiency to reduce costs
• Demonstrate a vast general knowledge of construction best practices
• Maintain up to date knowledge of all code requirements
• Meet or exceed all code requirements
• Maintain excellent client relationships
