The Mount Sinai Health System is currently seeking full-time General/Non-Invasive Cardiologist for its practice on the upper eastside Manhattan!

Phenomenal opportunity to serve as a Cardiologist in our Mount Sinai Doctors Manhattan Heart Practice, one of the most dynamic neighborhoods in New York City. The ideal candidates will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction. In addition, we would like our talented physician candidates to have a passion for outpatient medicine and be fully committed to mission of Mount Sinai Health System. The chosen candidates will have the opportunity to partner with world renowned, Icahn School of Medicine. Mount Sinai’s Department of Cardiology is strongly committed to caring for the whole patient and places special emphasis on providing patient-centered care. The division embraces the mission of Icahn School of Medicine by pursuing an integrated approach to patient care, research, and education. We pursue all dimensions of these three components, considering them inseparable elements of the art and science of medicine.

The position offers an opportunity to join our Cardiology practice with a diverse patient population. The team is dedicated to the highest quality care and promoting continued education in its staff while playing an integral role in Mount Sinai’s efforts to continue to grow in Manhattan. Physicians will have the opportunity to be involved in PI and QA initiatives. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Responsibilities

  • Full-time Cardiologist
  • Excellent primary care referral base with patient panel on day one
  • Serve a diverse population and live in a highly desirable neighborhood with excellent school districts
  • Practice has a close affiliation with Mount Sinai Heart and world-class tertiary/quaternary cardiac and surgical care
  • Outpatient and inpatient clinical care
  • Extensive Support staff
  • Teaching opportunities available with the potential to do research

Qualifications

  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University
  • New York Medical License
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible for Echocardiography
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible for Cardiac Computed Tomography
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible for Cardiac Magnetic Resonance
  • A Level III training in echocardiography as well as current or anticipated Board Certification in Echocardiography

Compensation range from 325K to 500K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
