Summary of Position:

Penn State Health is seeking a board certified/eligible General Neurosurgeon to join our multi-disciplinary team in the Berks-Lancaster region. The selected candidate will primarily focus on spine surgery. All subspecialties are welcome to apply. Our multi-hospital health system serves patients and communities across 29 counties in central Pennsylvania.

Position Highlights:

  • Join an established team of neurosurgeons and advanced practice clinicians based at Penn State St Joseph’s Medical Center in Reading, PA and Penn State Lancaster Medical Center in Lancaster, PA.
  • Be part of Penn State’s growing, nationally recognized academic neurosurgery department.
  • Approximately 1:4 call with no Level 1 or Level 2 trauma call.
  • Potential for an academic appointment at Penn State College of Medicine with rank commensurate with experience.
  • An exciting opportunity to play an essential role in our vision to expand access to leading-edge neurosurgical care across central Pennsylvania.
  • Community-based practice in a tertiary care center.
