Job summary

VHC Health in Arlington, Virginia is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Neurosurgeon to join our growing Neurosciences Program near Washington, D.C.

You will provide cranial and spinal surgery, collaborate with neurology, neuroradiology, pain management, rehabilitation, oncology, and APPs, and contribute to program development.

This full‑time role offers a strong referral base, state‑of‑the‑art facilities, EPIC EMR, dedicated OR time, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Neurosurgery Residency Program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neu neurological Surgery.
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurosurgical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for brain, spine, and peripheral nervous system disorders.
• Perform elective and urgent neurosurgical procedures.
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical care.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and clinical support staff.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical excellence initiatives.
• Support the continued growth and development of the Neurosciences Program.
