Job description

The Department of Radiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and the Mount Sinai Medical Center is seeking Board-Certified Academic Radiologists in General, Musculoskeletal, Nuclear Medicine, and Neuroradiology in Manhattan and Queens.

MSH/Neuroradiology

The Department of Radiology of the Mount Sinai Health System and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a fellowship-trained, Board-Certified Neuroradiologist for a full-time position in its Division of Neuroradiology at Mount Sinai Hospital. The neuroradiology group provides services for inpatient and outpatient practices at various sites.

Academic Nuclear Medicine Radiologist

The candidate will provide outstanding clinical services, including PET-CT, actively engage in teaching residents and fellows, participate in quality improvement and value initiatives, initiate research projects, and develop research collaborations across disciplines at Mount Sinai Health System. Expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine, including SPECT/CT, PET/CT, and radiopharmaceutical treatments, is required. Experience in managing Phase 1-3 clinical trials, with knowledge of cancer biology, radiopharmacy, radiation safety, and investigational radiopharmaceutical development, is essential. Experience in cardiac PET is desirable.

Academic Musculoskeletal Radiology

The Department of Diagnostic, Molecular, and Interventional Radiology focuses on early detection, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and research. The Musculoskeletal Radiology section, comprising 8 members, provides services at the Main campus and Mount Sinai West/Downtown. Proficiency in all aspects of Musculoskeletal radiology, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and related procedures, is preferred. The faculty is dedicated to clinical excellence and education. Compensation ranges from $350K to $500K (excluding bonuses/incentives and benefits).

Mount Sinai Queens Hospital

The Mount Sinai Health System is recruiting a full or part-time radiologist for Mount Sinai Queens Hospital, a 235-bed acute care facility in Astoria, NY, serving adult medical and surgical patients with nearly 500 physicians across 40 specialties. Compensation ranges from $360K to $475K (excluding bonuses/incentives and benefits).

Salary Disclosure

Mount Sinai provides a salary range to comply with New York City law on salary transparency. Actual salaries depend on experience, specialties, productivity, and other factors. The listed range applies to full-time employment and excludes bonuses/incentives and benefits.
